Product Description
A complete one-piece 3D-resin-printed chassis.
This was designed for a '70.5 Pro Mod Camaro, but the body is no longer being made. See dimensions in the drawings above.
This particular chassis has a long nose, forward sloping roof, firewall and wheel tubbs with an extended lower platform.
It may fit your needs too (see dimensions below). Email me with the body you intend to use to obtain measurements for a sure-fit.
Made of ABS-like resin so easy modifications can be made by cutting, sanding and use of CA glue.
Due to the 3D printing process, the undersides of the tubbs and rear extension need minor sanding and will most likely be covered with carbon fiber decals anyway.
I designed it to utilize many of Futurattraction's suspension and other items (see list of links below). It will save you a ton of time without having to scratch build your own means of mounting the front/rear suspension and more.
Main structural members are .090" diameter while minor members are .080" diameter.
FEATURES:
- Body is designed to sit on the chassis for easy removal for cockpit and engine display (body not included, nor means of attaching body)
- Front strut upper and lower mounting eyelets, for the strut/coil over spindle and lower control-arms.
- Rear 4-link brackets are molded to the chassis
- Rear engine/transmission plate is molded in with the firewall
- Detailed driver's cage with wrap-around tubing
- Wheel tubbs and extended platform
For chassis dimensions, see the two drawings in the photos above.
