It's real metal with an adhesive backeing and only .0005 inch thick.
This is a half size sheet for those who want to save money and don't need a full 6" x 11" sheet. This mini size will still provide a lot of chrome for many builds.
It's easy to apply, conforms to all curvatures and allows details to show through.
Simple Directions:
- Cut a piece from the sheet slightly larger than the part to be covered.
- Burnish with cotton swab or soft cloth.
- Trim excess with a sharp #11 blade (see these surgical blades for you x-acto knife).
Includes one 6" x 5.5" sheet and complete instructions.

The product arrived in a box-board envelope with an additional piece of corrugate inside to protect against wrinkles, folds, and creases. Thank you for that. This is my first time using BMF - and it is much more difficult than I imagined. It will take a lot of practice before I see good results, I'm sure. It is highly dependent on the user's ability to maintain an accurate cut line. Also, I have learned any additional burnishing (after trimming) should be kept to a minimum. This stuff is very delicate and doesn't like being messed with. I am hoping for a steady hand, abundant patience, and good luck when I try it again today.
