Product Description

This aluminum hard line equals the following equivalent 1:1 size at each scale.
1/25 scale = 11/16"
1/16 scale = 7/16"
1/12 scale = 5/16"
1/8 scale = 3/16"

Depending on your scale, typical uses are smaller fuel lines around the engine, oil lines, A/C and heater lines. Also fuel return lines and hard lines from the fuel cell or gas tank. Oil lines in and out of the oil pump and to remote oil filters as well as coolant lines. At the larger scales, this can also be used for brake lines, nitrous lines and pneumatic lines.

This solid core aluminum is easy to bend and shape to your installation and is already highly polished looking.

Use Pro Tech Fittings sized at .035 or Silver Ferrules.

Each package contains one coil of .031 x 18"

  1. Blower detail at its finest 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23 Dec 2013

1/25 scale detail can be hard to accomplish, especially since a lot of focus from manufacturers is on 1/16 because of easier production. This is especially true for blower detail. I recently used sections from P/E sprues, stryrene strips and Ted's alum hard line to produce a reasonable replication.

I ran Teds braided line to a homemade throttle linkage block (driver's side), then back to another fuel line distribution block on the rear of the supercharger. From there I used Teds aluminum line to feed each injector at the base of the supercharger unit on both sides. It looked fantastic compared to rubber line and was straight as an arrow. Just one of many options using the variety of parts Teds stocks!
