Pre-Wired Distributor, Red Cap, 90-Degree Boots 1/25

Product Description

An authentic looking distributor with 90-degree black boots at the cap and 90-degree black boots at the spark plug end.

Includes a nicely detailed cap, base and aluminum stem along with pre-assembled spark wires with boots

90-degree black boots are 3D-printed and already have the spark plug wire attached.

Includes a length of wire to be cut and added to the boot open ends and inserted in the distributor cap and into the heads.

Follow these simple steps: (my suggested procedure) Note that instructions are included.

(The boots already on the wires need a means to attach to the cap, as well as the boots at the heads)

• Cut a small piece of the supplied wire and glue it into the open end of each 90-degree boot with the wire.
• Glue this ‘pinned’ end into the distributor cap. For more realism and to get that criss-crossing look, place these wires in the proper firing order for your engine. See this FREE download.
• Cut eight small pieces of the supplied wire and glue into one end of each 90-degree boot on the sprue

                 HINT - Don’t remove the boots on the sprue until they all have this wire installed. It will be easier to work with them and handle them when gluing to the end of the spark plug wire once the wires are cut to length.

• Install the distributor and cut the wires to length.
• Remove the boots from the sprue and glue the open ends to the spark plug wires 
• Drill eight .0225” (drill #74) holes at the heads for each “spark plug”
• Glue and insert the ‘piinned’ ends of the spark plug cables into the drilled holes

Spark plug wires are available in three different colors. 

Minor assembly required.
